WF-N004 Chrome Plated Conical Closed End Acorn Style Lug Nut is an automotive wheel lug nut designed to combine secure fastening with a clean decorative appearance. Base Material: Made from high-strength alloy carbon steel, such as 35CrMo or 40Cr, through cold heading/forming. The continuous grain flow provides good tensile strength and resistance to shear forces.
Heat Treatment: The lug nuts undergo automated quenching and tempering to achieve a stable hardness of 28–32 HRC, helping reduce thread stripping and deformation of the external hex during installation.
Corrosion Protection: A multi-layer electroplating process is used, with copper, nickel, and chrome deposited successively. The product passes more than 72 hours of Neutral Salt Spray (NSS) testing, providing long-lasting corrosion resistance in harsh road conditions, including salted roads and humid coastal environments.
Precision Threads: Threads are formed by rolling to achieve a 6H/2B precision tolerance, supporting smooth tightening without binding and promoting more even load distribution.
